  • Following his playing days at MTU, he spent seven years as a member of the Winnipeg Jets (1981-88) where he served as the team's co-captain for two seasons (1984-86) and received the club's 7th Player Award for contributions both on and off the ice (1986). Watters then signed as a free agent with the Los Angeles Kings in July of 1988 and played the next six seasons in Los Angeles..... Jersey features the Goals for Kids patch above the right sleeve numbers (first year used by Winnipeg/Phoenix)..... Alternate captain's "A" on the left chest..... The numbers are two color sewn twill with embroidered edging while the name is single color embroidery on a nameplate..... CCM logo embroidered on the back hem of the jersey..... Jersey shows good overall wear (board burns, stick/puck marks, etc) and was autographed in person behind the crest..... Obtained from a private collector in November 1998.

  • Watters was voted the team's best defenseman and also gained the club's Unsung Hero Award in 1990. During the 1990-91 season Tim appeared in 45 games posting 4 assists and 92 PIMs. In the playoffs he added another 12 PIMs in seven games..... Typical of jerseys from this era, the neck has a CCM / Maska Ultrafil tag with a handwritten "52" indicating the jersey size and is just readable after so many washings..... The numbers and name (on nameplate) are two color sewn twill..... Jersey was autographed in person behind the crest..... CCM and NHL logos on the back hem..... The jersey shows good overall wear with board burns, stick marks, and three great team repairs. There is also some pilling on the inside just behind the back number..... Obtained from a private collector in July 1999.

  • For the 25th anniversary of the Los Angeles Kings franchise, the team dressed up their jerseys with a special patch on the left shoulder as well as three color sewn twill numbers and name. The sleeve numbers use white as the base color with black in the middle, but the back numbers are done with black twill as the base color with white in the middle. One other odd feature is that the ..... The jersey also features the NHL 75th anniversary patch making this what collectors call a "multi-patch" jersey and are often highly prized by collectors..... Wear is pretty good with heavy pilling on the right cuff, a few stick marks and five team repairs..... CCM Maska Ultrafil and sz 54 "flag" tags in neck..... CCM and NHL logos on back hem..... Obtained from a private collector in May 2006.

  • This jersey is from Tim's last full season in the NHL. (Watters would appear in one NHL game the following season, however he spent most of the season as a player / coach with the Kings IHL minor league team, the Phoenix Roadrunners..... Following his career as a player, Tim spent a season behind the bench with the Boston Bruins as an assistant coach before spending 4+ seasons as the head coach of the Michigan Tech Huskies..... The jersey wear is pretty good with general filth on the cuffs, stick marks, and three team repairs..... All numbering is done in three color sewn twill, while the name is done in single color sewn twill and the letters are sewn directly to the jersey..... It was also initialed on the set tag by Kings' equipment manager, Peter Miller, with a black shapie marker which is sewn inside the back hem of the jersey..... Jersey was autographed in person behind the crest..... CCM and NHL logos on the back hem..... Obtained from Byron's Hockeyland in July 1998.
