This jersey is from George's senior season in which he posted 14 goals and 16 assists, placing him third in team scoring..... All numbers are two color sewn twill..... Name (on nameplate) is single color sewn twill..... So how did these jerseys end up at a website dedicated to former Michigan Tech players? Well Jessica (SCSU alumni) is the silent partner in this operation, but Awada was always her favorite player. So although George has gathered quite a following in Europe, we share with you a couple of his jerseys from his days before he moved "across the pond" to play in Europe..... Obtained from a private collector in October 2001.

George posted 8 goals and 8 assists in his first professional season..... All numbers and name (on nameplate) are two color sewn twill..... Jersey has a small "autograph" (is that really a signature?) on back numbers..... Supplied with a team supplied letter of authenticity..... New Jersey Devils (parent club) shoulder patches..... Obtained from a private collector in July 2001.
